TL;DR
Season 2 was a year of evolution—personally, professionally, and creatively. This wrap-up covers:
Gratitude: For every listener, guest, and collaborator.
Themes: Freedom, autonomy, and navigating transitions.
Behind the scenes: Why transparency matters and why I share the messy middle.
What’s next: Season 3 mini-series, new collaborations, and deeper dives into work, business, and finance.
Introduction: Why Pause Matters
We live in a culture obsessed with “what’s next.” But clarity often comes in the pause. As we close out 2025 and Season 2 of The Clarity Shift, this episode is a moment to reflect, root, and recalibrate before stepping into Season 3.
“We’re not always going to know—and that’s okay. Sometimes the most radical act is to pause.”
Part 1: From Design Plus to The Clarity Shift—An Evolution
This podcast started in Fall 2023 as Design Plus, born from a tipping point of needing to decompress and find my voice. Since then, it’s evolved through multiple iterations:
Design Plus: Rooted in design identity (graphic, UX, interior, even human design).
Calm Balm: A soothing concept—but too broad.
Career Power: Closer, but still too rigid.
The Clarity Shift: Where we landed—a name that honors reinvention, adaptability, and intentional living.
Why this matters: Titles reflect identity. And just like careers, identity evolves. This podcast is proof that trial and error isn’t failure—it’s freedom.
Part 2: The Common Thread—Freedom and Autonomy
Across two seasons, one theme kept surfacing:
The pursuit of freedom: Time, energy, creativity, and sovereignty.
Navigating systems: From the corporate ladder to entrepreneurship, from 9-5 to side hustles.
The messy middle: Transition isn’t linear—and that’s okay.
Whether guests stayed in traditional roles or built businesses, the question was the same: How do we design a life that feels expansive?
Part 3: Radical Transparency—Why I Share the Chaos
Most business content shows the polished “after.” I’m committed to showing the messy middle:
Leaving corporate jobs (twice this year).
Paying off $100K in debt through job hopping and contracting.
Navigating pivots in business and identity.
Traveling solo internationally for the first time (hello, London!).
Why?
Because clarity isn’t instant. It’s iterative. And sharing the process helps us normalize uncertainty—and celebrate resilience.
Part 4: What’s Coming in Season 3!
1) Mini-Series Format
Season 3 will feature themed chapters for deeper dives into:
The history and evolution of work.
Business and finance strategies for creative autonomy.
Navigating transitions with intention.
2) Collaborations
Capacity Conversations with Sarah Liljegren: Two millennial women on opposite coasts exploring freedom, housing, and survival in a shifting economy.
Go With the Flow with Jess Mujica: A mini-series on cycle awareness as a power source for work and business.
3) A Day in the Life
Behind-the-scenes series continues—because transparency is one of my top values!
Part 5: How You Can Shape Season 3
This isn’t a one-way conversation. I want your input:
What topics do you want explored?
Which messy middle moments resonate most?
Who should we bring on as guests?

Reflection Prompts
What did Season 2 teach you about freedom and flexibility?
Where do you need a pause before your next pivot?
What would clarity look like for you in 2026?
Sharing for a friend
Before I wrap up, I want to share something a friend of mine created that I think many of you will appreciate.
It’s a digital planner designed to bring more mental clarity and structure into your day — especially if you’re juggling work, life, and the invisible “mental load” that never seems to end.
I’ve been genuinely impressed by how thoughtfully it’s laid out: planning pages, budgeting tools, grocery lists, and gentle self‑reflection prompts all in one place. If you’re craving a calmer, more organized start to the new year, it’s worth a look. I’ll include the link below.
Final Word 🌞
Season 2 was a chapter of growth, chaos, and clarity. Season 3 will be about depth—mini-series, collaborations, and intentional pivots.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to more freedom, more creativity, and more clarity in 2026.
We’ve got this. 🌟
